Kathryn Gardiner

Kathryn is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who combines her skill as a teacher with her passion as a counsellor to create a safe space for working closely with families impacted by a wide variety of emotional health challenges.

With a foundation in attachment-based therapy, Kathryn believes in the importance of working not only with children, but in tandem with parents and caregivers, drawing on their unique position as experts on their own child.  Blending compassion and empathy with psycho-education, goal setting and tailored strategies, Kathryn’s primary focus is working collaboratively to foster increased wellbeing in children and a sense of connectedness within the family.

Kathryn received her Masters of Education (Counselling) from City University of Seattle and is a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
