Clients will be asked when booking an appointment whether they have symptoms of COVID-19. They will be asked to cancel or reschedule their appointment if they develop symptoms or have a family member who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19. Clients will be reminded of this policy when they arrive for their appointment.
All in-person appointments are scheduled and staggered to allow time to sanitize surfaces between appointments and to minimize contact with others. In the initial re-opening stage, only four therapists per day will book appointments in the main office.
Clients will wait in their vehicles until called to come in.
Access to a counselling office is restricted to clients only.
The waiting room will not be utilized, except by parents of young children and then only
COVID-19 protocol signage has been posted on the main door.
Hand sanitizer will be provided for clients to use when entering and exiting offices.
Plexiglass barriers have been placed around reception area.
Protocols have been established to deal with physical distancing requirements within the therapy rooms, as well as entering and leaving the office.
Coffee/water stations and magazines have been removed from public area.
Tissues and waste baskets will be accessible to clients and contents of baskets removed in a timely manner.
Onsite payment will be limited to credit/debit. Pin pads will be sanitized before/after client use. Receipts will be sent electronically.
The therapists will sanitize the therapy rooms after each client has left.
The main reception area will be thoroughly sanitized at the end of the day.
