Jean-Claude Bazinet, M.A.

Jean-Claude grew up and was educated in Quebec. He moved to BC in 1983 to teach in a French Immersion program, specializing in reading instruction and learning disabilities. He also became involved with L'Arche, where he lived and worked with people with disabilities. Jean-Claude then took extensive training at UBC, earning his Masters in Counselling Psychology.
In addition to maintaining a private counselling practice, Jean-Claude currently works as a school counsellor. Within his school district, he coordinates crisis management and interventions, and is a primary consultant on behavioural and counselling issues. Jean-Claude also facilitates workplace mediations for the BCTF.
Jean-Claude has been with Denis Boyd & Associates since 1993 and provides counselling for children, youth and adults in both English and French. He offers support and guidance for various issues including depression, anxiety, school-related issues, parenting and family issues and relationship problems.
Jean-Claude is a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and the College of Teachers of BC. Jean-Claude is married and has a young child.
